Our expertise lies in the areas of topographic surveying, boundary surveying, construction layout, FEMA flood elevation surveying, mapping, boundary line adjustments, and legal descriptions. These services have been provided to public agencies, private firms, and private residential clients with projects involving water tank replacement, water line installation, building layout, road layout, and mapping for design and as-built requirements. Stephen “Chip” Brejc began his surveying career in 1993 after a brief 2 year career as a geotechnical engineer. Chip is well versed in many aspects of land surveying including topographic surveying, boundary surveying, and construction staking, using both conventional and GPS surveying techniques. Currently, Chip is President and sole employee of InSite Land Surveys, Inc., a land surveying firm that he started in South Lake Tahoe in 2004. Chip practices the survey profession solo, and much of his success as a surveying business is attributed to his work being accomplished in a timely manner with a high degree of quality in his finished products. Being a member of the California Land Surveyors Association (CLSA) and a practicing professional in the States of California and Nevada, Chip stays abreast on the current surveying trends by participating in the many educational opportunities provided by CLSA and other organizations.
